During winter the small birds are in abundance in the garden.   The frosty weather has brought a few unusual sightings.

The beach is a haven fo seabirds, especially waders.  Where are all the people?  What joy to be the sole participant in nature's rich tapestry. Visit us in winter and enjoy the solitude - come away invigorated and refreshed.

A woodpecker has been busy on the electricity pole. Lets hope he knows when to stop

Sadly a lot of the more exotic plants in the garden have been lost to frost this year

In summer badgers are still frequent visitors to the garden at night - very welcome as long as they continue to feast on the slugs and snails.
